T-Rell Plugs New Collab On IG

Sixteen year-old singer/songwriter Iliana Eve has been through a lot in the past year and a half, and it almost derailed her music career altogether. At a time when she should have been celebrating endorsements and collabs with Doggy Style Records, Funny Mike aka 22 Savage, Cyhi The Prynce, Kxng Crooked, Royce da 5’9″ and more, instead she found herself not only the victim of sexual abuse, followed by the suicide death of her Grandfather, she was also the victim of an armed home invasion perpetrated by her former neighbor. The stress of it all shut Eve’s desire to record down for a time as she struggled to come to terms with it all.

Today’s offering, “Love You Goodbye” is Eve’s first recording since it all transpired and she brought Kansas City crooner T-Rell on board to imbue it with the kind of soulful accent that brought him to national attention in 2015 with his hit single. “My Dawg.” You may recall that song, which went on to be remixed by Boosie, was inspired by the death of his brother, making him the perfect choice.

“Love You Goodbye” was produced by Multi-Platinum, Billboard-charting Jonathan Hay, who says it’s “the best song he’s ever recorded”, and appears on “Jail Tattoos” that also features Yung Bleu, expected November 9th on Hoodlum Ball Records. Iliana will soon be telling her incredible story to Inside Edition. Stay tuned for air dates.
